The Clearwater Martin Luther King, Jr. Neighborhood Center Coalition worked for 2 years to ensure that the Center's legacy would not be lost and on the 29th of November 2012, the Pinellas County School Board issued the lease and keys for the building to the coalition. On January 17, 2015, the community celebrated the Grand Reopening of the Center with over 300 of our friends, neighbors and elected representatives. We are seeking individuals who are interested in offering their time as volunteers at the community center. All are welcome to join our development meetings being held on the second Tuesday of each month, at 6:00 pm at the neighborhood center.
The Clearwater MLK Jr Neighborhood Center Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the residents of our community with creative solutions to problems, which will include direct program services, seminars and counseling that overcome barriers, improve the quality of life and enhance their ability to be self sufficient. Our programs will cover all ages.
